Refined Palm Oil Industry

Palm oil is an edible vegetable oil derived from the mesocarp (reddish pulp) of the fruit of the oil palm. The oil is used in food manufacturing, in beauty products, and as biofuel.

Bleaching Earth

Bleaching earths are generally composed of up to three types of clay minerals: bentonite, attapulgite, and sepiolite. The minerals act as absorbers, with capacity being dependent on mineralogical structure and properties such as surface area, particle size distribution, porosity, and surface activity. It is commonly used in the palm oil industry to remove. impurities from crude palm oil during the refining process.
